CAA Tutors at work!

Tutors and students hard at work

The CAA is an academic resource for all Carlow students who:

  • Want to become stronger and more independent learners
  • Want to improve their academic skills and strategies
  • Need one-time or ongoing tutoring in course material

Services are provided at no additional charge to current Carlow students.

You can come to the CAA to work on:

  • Writing and research
  • Course material
  • Time management
  • Test preparation
  • Study strategies
  • Reading comprehension
  • Test anxiety
  • Critical thinking

Tutoring at the CAA is provided by professional tutors and peer tutors. Professional tutors are specialists in their fields with many years of teaching experience. Peer tutors are current Carlow students who have mastered the skills and material for specific courses. They have been recommended as tutors by Carlow faculty.
